Simpson Strong-Tie LCE4SS LCE Stainless-Steel End Post Cap for 4x (Pack of 40)

Post caps secure a wood beam to the top of a wood post. They transfer the load into the post and eventually into the foundation. Simpson Strong-Tie® post caps are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate various beam and post configurations. The LCE is designed to provide a connection when the end of a beam bears on a post. The versatile, two-piece design of this light post cap for end conditions can accommodate 4x and 6x lumber. The LCE is ideal for both new and retrofit construction and is load rated when installed in pairs.
