This Satchel is made from a thick vegetable tanned Bridle leather in gorgeous Conker Brown colour

Information about the unique eco-friendly leather used in this bag
The process that was followed in making (tanning) the leather is an ancient technique where vegetable extracts from bark of trees such as oak are used to tan the leather. It is dyed using natural vegetable dyes and does not use any of the chemicals that the majority of leather being produced today does. Vegetable tanned leathers are becoming increasingly rare as companies switch from traditional methods of tanning leather using vegetable extracts to mass produced chrome tanned leathers

This leather and case will age very well and the more it is used, the better it will look. The leather has a very natural finish and does not have several coats of paint to hide any natural characteristics of the leather which is typical of cheaper leather bags. The leather used in this case shows any natural markings of the skin and this adds to the beauty and uniqueness of each bag
