What it does: SL-8 is a silicone-based spray lubricant for use with Riv-Nail guide blocks and the APC-1.5 air-powered belt cutter. The silicone film reduces friction during rivet driving and prevents pilot nails from binding in guide channels.

When and how to use: Apply sparingly to guide block channels and to the belt cutter blade contact area. A light coating is enough; heavy application can cause the rivet to slip during setting. Sold as a single 8-ounce bottle.
