Through our partnership with  Cobalt Friction Racing Brakes we now have available the premier performance brake pad for the 2020+ C8 Corvettte. These pads are designed for the Z51 brake package and use Cobalt's exclusive Carbon Ceramic material. Their rapid prototyping allowed us to have THE FIRST true race pad for the C8 Corvette.

All Cobalt Friction XR-Series racing brake pads feature true 100% "no bedding required" to achieve full frictional performance, unlike most traditional race pads which require very specific bedding instructions for proper function. These are the same pads that we have tested on our own C8 Corvette with consistent and impressive brake performance. We do suggest using the same pad compound at the front and rear of the car currently.  XR1’s should only be used on those running a full race tire front and rear on the car as it can quickly over power the DOT street tire level of grip.
