Limited new release of a small-production Chardonnay from Patria.

Right away its crystal clear that this is the more forward of the two Patrisa Chardonnays. Explosive aromas of Roasted hazelnut, apple pie filling, orange blossom and lemon oil are followed on the palate with expansive flavors of roasted apple, pineapple husk, lime zest and marzipan. Of the two I would crack into the Ritchie first to enjoy its youthful precociousness. 

Patria is one of the newest cult wines we've discovered in Napa Valley. Between the pedigree behind the wine and the quality of what is in the bottle, this production is poised to be on the radar of collectors and connoisseurs alike. Anthony (Tony) Biagi, former Winemaker of Plumpjack wines and still consultant at Cade Winery, is the mastermind behind Patria. Bringing years of experience to the table, Tony crafts these rich, dense and chewy style of Cabernet Sauvignon that we've come to love over the years and the 2014 is another excellent vintage.
