The Switchblade VMC20 is a compact, feature-rich video switcher control panel designed to bring professional-grade switching capabilities to any live production environment. Compatible with both Blackmagic Design ATEM switchers and vMix live production software, the VMC20 offers unmatched flexibility for studios, mobile production trucks, and portable flypacks—anywhere space is at a premium.

The VMC20 supports up to 20 direct channels, with an additional 20 channels accessible via a SHIFT key, giving operators control over up to 40 video sources. Each channel features a crisp monochrome OLED display that clearly shows the channel name, making it easy to keep track of multiple inputs in fast-paced production settings.

A built-in 5.5-inch full-color display provides easy access to the system’s settings and configuration menus, while an ergonomic PTZ joystick and dedicated preset buttons give you smooth, precise control over pan-tilt-zoom cameras. Switching between camera shots and presets has never been faster or more fluid.

One of the VMC20’s standout features is its N-Keys section, with 20 fully programmable buttons and a vibrant OLED display grid. With the included N-Keys software for Windows, these buttons can be mapped to trigger custom actions in virtually any software application—whether you’re switching in vMix, Wirecast, OBS, XSplit Broadcaster, or operating your ATEM switcher. This opens up a world of automation and streamlined control that goes far beyond the capabilities of traditional hardware panels.

With five rotary knobs for on-the-fly audio level adjustments, the VMC20 ensures your production sounds as good as it looks. It connects to Blackmagic ATEM switchers over IP via its RJ-45 Ethernet port, or directly to vMix systems via USB. Power options include POE+ or an external adapter, adding flexibility to meet the needs of any setup.
