PurePea™, a natural pea protein isolate, offers a high level of functionality and nutritional benefits. PurePea™ is a true vegan protein which has high bioavailability and excellent digestibility. The raw materials, North American grown yellow peas, are not genetically modified (non-GMO) and are produced with a natural fermentation process which uses no chemical solvents.

DIRECTIONS

Directions: As a dietary supplement, mix 30 grams (approx. two scoops) in eight ounces of water or any other beverage per day, or as directed by your health care practitioner.

Pea protein features a high digestibility and low allergenic profile compared with other vegetarian protein sources. It contains a well-balanced amino acid profile, close to that of whey protein, and it is particularly high in arginine, lysine, and phenylalanine. Pea protein has an excellent array of amino acids that also include high levels of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), such as leucine. Leucine has been shown to support muscle growth and repair, making pea protein a great protein source for athletes and anyone who is physically active.*

Pea protein, especially in the isolate form, has substantially lower levels of anti-nutritional factors (e.g., phytates, lectins, tannins, oxalates, and trypsin inhibitors) enhancing its digestibility and providing an advantage over other vegetable protein isolates. These anti-nutritional factors may reduce the digestibility of a protein and inhibit the absorption of other key minerals and nutrients.

In addition to the amino acid content supporting muscle growth and lean muscle tissue,* pea protein may also promote heart health. Components of the pea have been shown to support normal blood glucose metabolism and normal lipid metabolism.*
