The Virnig SLT Salt Spreader is engineered for professional snow removal contractors and property managers who need fast, predictable, and efficient winter material application. Designed to preload, store, and spread salt directly from stackable poly totes, this skid steer salt spreader eliminates the need for bulky salt trucks and minimizes on-site material waste making winter operations cleaner, safer, and dramatically more efficient.

A front-mounted design gives operators unmatched visibility of the spreading pattern, improving accuracy around buildings, walkways, loading zones, and high-traffic areas. With dual spinners, dual augers, and a manually adjustable flow control valve, you get precise spread widths from 10' to 40' perfect for everything from narrow drives to expansive commercial lots.

Built for harsh winter conditions, the SLT features a corrosion-resistant motor with a seal protector, nickel-plated shaft, and tough polyethylene tote system that keeps your salt dry, contained, and ready to go. Horsepower Requirement:
Because this is a skid-steer-powered attachment, it does not require a specific engine horsepower rating. The correct “power requirement” is hydraulic flow, and the Virnig SLT operates efficiently on 15–25 GPM standard-flow hydraulics. Any skid steer that can supply this hydraulic range and lift more than 2,600 lbs is fully compatible.
