What is the difference between normal and acid free tissue paper?

Regular tissue paper tends to become brittle and acidic over time. This acidity can leach onto adjacent objects and discolour or damage them. Thus, if you are storing sensitive items such as antqiues or textiles, you will want to use acid free tissue paper. This tissue paper has been specially treated in neutral pH water so there will be no discolouration or damage.
