This unique, genuine Murano Glass Brooch is handmade on the Island of Murano in Venice, Italy, using techniques built upon by hundreds of years of Venetian artistic heritage. Our Murano Glass products have been crafted by hand in small individual workshops on Murano since the year 1291. Since 2006 we have forged relationships with these talented Murano Glassmasters and we strive to import and distribute the very best 100% authentic Murano Glass pieces we can find for our valued customers.

Here you see a a beautifully made Murano Glass Brooch from Venice, Italy, with a gold leaf base. Each brooch is handmade, hence unique, and printed 'Murano Glass' on the rear (see pictures). 

Murano products often include lovely glass Millefiori pieces - a combination of the Italian words "mille" (thousand) and "fiori" (flowers) or Murrine pieces (singular: murrina, also referred to as murrini) which are coloured patterns or images made when a glass cane (long rods of glass) is cut in cross-sections (like a loaf of bread).
