Solgar Turmeric Root Extract capsules are suitable for vegans. Whilst many of us are familiar with turmeric as a spice, the bright yellow turmeric extract root has also been used thousands of years. Native to south east Asia, turmeric is a relative of the ginger plant. Due to its distinctive colour and flavour, it's commonly dried and ground to be used as a spice in cooking. The bright yellow colour of turmeric is caused by the plant's main active ingredient, curcumin.

Turmeric Extract (root).

Vegetable Capsule Shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, Anti-caking Agents: vegetable magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, Bulking Agent: microcrystalline cellulose, Powdered blend (PhytO2X®) (colour (beta carotene), Antioxidant (L-Ascorbic acid)).
