The NEUSPEED one piece billet short shifter easily installs onto the transmission's selector shaft.  The NEUSPEED short shift kit reduces the throw length between gears up to 40% (depending on model year) - this is the absolute maximum reduction possible without overextending the cable mechanism.

The NEUSPEED short shift kit incorporates a calibrated counterweight which is required for more positive shift action.

This is a completely bolt-on application - no cable adjustment required.

Fits: 2006.5-up Audi A3, TT(8J), VW GTI MKV, VI & MK7, Jetta V & VI & GLI, EOS, Passat(B6), Golf R with 6-Speed manual transmission and small pin stud cable mount. For 2006 split originally equipped with OEM shifter lever # 1K0 711 051 N use this kit.
