Latin Name: Iris siberica 'Butter and Sugar'
Description: This elegant variety of Siberian Iris displays unique, bright pale-yellow tryptic petals, that gracefully droop over themselves, showcasing even brighter yellow throats and another set of shorter, frilly white petals directly atop the others, contrasting beautifully with the buttery yellow throats. They bloom on sturdy stems over a bed of flat, fanned, long and narrow blue-green foliage. Each flower stalk produces multiple dainty blossoms, blooming in the early summer with the possibility of a rebloom later in the season. Particularly effective around water features, this specimen makes an excellent choice for bringing bright, sunny colour to your gardens! Can be grown around Black Walnuts. Remove spent flower spikes to encourage reblooming.
