The Simpson Strong-Tie CCQ5-6SDSROTHDG is a heavy-duty column cap designed to create a strong connection between a 6x6 wood post and a 5-1/8" wide beam. Pre-deflected for accurate installation under load, this cap transfers lateral and vertical forces efficiently, making it ideal for structural framing in exposed outdoor conditions.

This model includes Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws and is hot-dip galvanized for maximum corrosion resistance. It’s built for use with pressure-treated lumber and meets code requirements for outdoor or high-moisture environments.
