Specialized, high-quality, round in cross-section, grinding stone (whetstone or so-called brus) designed for sharpening blunt tools from the Banshu series with round and semi-circular blades (for example: Semicircular Blade or Semicircular Blade # 2 . ). Its basic element is aluminum oxide, and therefore the same component that is included in many sandpaper. However, in the case of the presented whetstone, it was subjected to further thermal and mechanical treatment, as a result of which the presented grinding stone is characterized by very good mechanical strength and high hardness. At the same time, however, be careful that it does not fall from a height, and you should not hit it against other objects. This may lead to its breakage, and in extreme cases - breaking into several parts. Before using it for sharpening tools, it is recommended to place it firmly on the ground and then wet it with water. After approx. 1-2 minutes, when the water has soaked into the stone, it is ready for use. The manufacturer recommends even sharpening at an acute angle (approx. 45 degrees). Most often, a few moves are enough to restore the original blade properties.
