Join Amat-Amat: Introduction to Machine Knitting, a beginner-friendly workshop designed to help you build skills gradually and confidently. In this 3-hour session, you’ll be guided through the fundamentals of knitting machines in a clear, hands-on, and supportive environment.

Rooted in the Hiligaynon philosophy of amat-amat (“gradually”), this workshop encourages steady learning through practice and repetition. No prior experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to learn at your own pace.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• A guided introduction to knitting machine parts and basic operations
• Hands-on practice in setting up and operating the machine
• Step-by-step support in creating a basic knit swatch
• Small group format to ensure comfort and confidence
• All yarns, machines, and basic tools provided

By the end of the workshop, each participant will complete their own handmade shawl to take home!
