I dyed the resin a rich teal ocean blue—like the deep water just beyond the Monterey tide pools—and carefully embedded real sea glass, a delicate sea urchin spike, and a tiny shell I collected along the shores of Monterey, CA. Each element is suspended in crystal-clear UV resin, creating a little underwater world you can wear close to your heart.

The shape is a soft oval, framed in a warm gold-toned setting, and it hangs from simple black cordage that keeps the focus on the ocean scene itself. It feels both earthy and elegant—like walking barefoot along the California coast with salt in the air and waves rolling in.

Our Process

I hand-collect natural elements during my time exploring California’s coastline, then thoughtfully arrange them before sealing everything in layers of UV resin. Each pour is done slowly to maintain clarity and preserve the natural textures inside. Once cured, the piece is sanded and polished so the ocean details shine through beautifully.
