After the first world war, Henri Gouges bought some vineyards in 1920 and the domaine that bears his name, and is run by his family, was born. But while Henri's devotion to quality remains, the domaine doesn't stand still. Over the past fifteen years or so, they have focused on organic production and always keep one eye on the future to see if they can improve what is, in many eyes, the perfect expression of Nuits-Saint-Georges.
