Mogwai's masterpiece "ComeOn Die Young" was released in March 1999. Twenty-four years after its release, it has been reissued on color vinyl. Mogwai's masterpiece "Come On Die Young" is reissued on color vinyl 24 years after its release. Housed in the original artwork gatefold sleeve on white vinyl. Released in March 1999, the artwork was inspired by The Exorcist, and the title is a reference to the slogan of a famous Glasgow gangster. Come On Die Young is a dark, elegant, and surprisingly restrained response to the aural fireworks of their debut album, Young Team. Mogwai is a rock band formed in Glasgow in 1995. 1997 saw the release of their debut album, Young Team, followed by 1999's second album, Come On Die Young, a UK Top 30 hit. 2011 saw their seventh album Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will", the band also released their own material on their own Glasgow-based label, Rock Action Records.After "Rave Tapes" in 2014 and "Every Country's Sun" in 2017, the band released its 10th album "As The Love Continues", its most recent release to date, in February 2021. The album reached #1 in the UK charts and #1 in the Scottish charts. It was also nominated for the Mercury Prize and won TheSAY Award (Scottish Album of the Year Award).
