Developing Transitional Play  

In the last 15 years, the game has not been reinvented, but it has come under more analysis than ever before. This means that we understand and critique the game in more detail than ever before. The ‘Transition’ moments have been come more evident and more important than we’ve ever seen before. How a team is able to react to losing, or regaining possession of the ball has a huge influence on the outcome of the game, how we train these moments is less understood.

During this best-selling title, we are looking to provide some detail as to why the transition moment is so important and how analysis of both footage and data exposes this. We will then look to provide a bank of sessions that will better place coaches to train players to become more effective in these moments. This includes both the offensive and defensive transition, and both will be explained in detail for coaches of all levels. "
