About Cheryl

Cheryl Owen is a talented visual artist who was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, majoring in Advertising Arts in 2009. After working in the advertising industry for several years, Cheryl decided to pursue her passion for art and became a full-time visual artist in 2016.

Using watercolor as her medium, she creates paintings that weave together elements of nature, portraits, and scenic landscapes with a touch of symbolism that portrays the relationship between humans and the natural world. With this, one could easily see how her works are greatly inspired by the great outdoors, the Divine Feminine, and the human psyche.

To date, Cheryl's watercolor pieces have been exhibited in various galleries and online art auctions not only locally but also internationally. She has also worked on personal and commercial illustrations and has her own collection of stationery products.
