A fantastic vintage galvanised metal planter with great industrial character. Made from heavy gauge galvanised steel with riveted construction and reinforced corner plates, giving it a strong utilitarian look.

Originally likely used as an industrial container or agricultural trough, it now makes a superb garden planter. The weathered galvanised finish combined with the natural patina and rivet detailing gives it a lovely rustic aesthetic that works beautifully in both traditional cottage gardens and more contemporary outdoor spaces.

Perfect planted with lavender, grasses, herbs or seasonal flowers. It would also look fantastic in a courtyard, on a patio, or positioned either side of a doorway.

Condition

Good vintage condition with age-related wear as expected. The galvanised finish shows areas of patina and surface rust, particularly internally, which adds to its industrial character. It also appears to have had a couple of historic repairs to the base, visible inside the planter, perfectly usable as a planter.
