The Chardonnay/Pinot Noir blend is a modern South African classic, designed to highlight the freshness of Chardonnay and the delicate fruit of Pinot Noir, often seen in Cap Classique base wines but here bottled as a still, dry blend.

The vineyards are rooted in decomposed granite and shale soils, and benefit from cool breezes off False Bay, which preserve crisp acidity and finesse. The blend is vinified mostly in stainless steel to capture bright fruit and vibrancy, with no heavy oak influence, making it light, refreshing, and very food-friendly.

Appearance: Pale salmon pink with copper highlights and a bright, youthful sheen. Light-bodied with quick-moving legs.

Aroma: Gentle and aromatic, with notes of wild strawberry, red cherry, and citrus zest, alongside hints of melon and white blossom.

Taste: Crisp and lively, showing red berry fruit up front, balanced by fresh citrus and stone fruit. The palate is clean and uncomplicated, with a soft, rounded mouthfeel and bright acidity.

Finish: Refreshing and dry, leaving flavours of redcurrant, strawberry, and lemon peel lingering on the palate.
