The owners of the famous Kanzler Vineyard (sourced by Kosta Browne) also make their own small-production Pinot.  Get the new vintage before the ratings come out.

91 Points Wine Enthusiast: "Aromas of toasty barrel spice and cherry lollipop waft from the nose of this medium bodied wine. The palate is saturated with flavors of raspberry candy, menthol, caramel and black tea. Pair this with miso glazed salmon. Best from 2026-2035."

90 Points Jeb Dunnuck: "The Kanzler 2022 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is a deep magenta hue and is ripe and jammy on the nose with notes of baked mixed berries, blueberries, purple flowers, and sappy cola. Medium-bodied, it fills the palate with a generous feel, with sweet tannins and a clean finish. It is a juicy and ripe style that’s going show its best over the next few years."

The Kanzler Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is a superb expression of the vineyard and the appellation. The wine is characterized by ripe dark cherry, plum, and black raspberry fruit layered upon earthy undertones. The wine is well structured, with the lush fruit balanced by firm but soft tannins with notes of chocolate, cinnamon toast, allspice and fragrances of rose petal, lavender and a hint of citrus on the nose.
