There is a particular audacity in wearing red without apology. The Aurora in Scarlet Mosaic does not soften it — it deepens it. The ground is hand-dyed to a rich, saturated scarlet, and over it, a traditional Vietnamese jacquard weaves an all-over geometric mosaic pattern: interlocking quatrefoils and cross-shaped motifs that recall the precision of ornamental tilework, the repeating geometry of a courtyard seen from above. In still light the fabric reads as one saturated whole. Move into the light, and the woven pattern emerges from the ground in a thousand small, deliberate facets — the same scarlet, but suddenly architectural, dimensional, alive.

Each Aurora Scarlet Mosaic is handcrafted in Vietnam by artisan weavers and dyers whose traditions span generations. The jacquard fabric — an 80% silk, 20% viscose mulberry silk blend — is woven in small batches before being hand-dyed to achieve the distinctive scarlet ground, a process that gives the colour its characteristic depth and intensity. The silhouette is deliberately spare: a clean column that falls 135 centimetres from thin shoulder straps, with a round neckline at the front and an open V-back secured by a single button at the nape. The absence of ornament is itself ornament. At the hem, a discreet side slit allows ease of movement without interrupting the line of the dress.

Wear it to a black-tie occasion with a single strand of pearls and nothing else. Take it to a winter wedding, to a formal dinner, to any room that deserves to be entered with intention. The mosaic pattern shifts with every movement and every change of light — restrained in shadow, luminous where the satin catches the room.
