Her workout is done, her shower is done, and her legs are tight in that satisfying way. Rosemary is the body butter she reaches for on those evenings, herbal and a little green, the kind of scent that smells like a spa without trying. The refill keeps that ritual going without piling up extra jars in the bathroom cabinet.
I am Kay, founder of So Buttery Skin. I started this in my kitchen after my daughter's eczema, and rosemary was one of the first true scents I added once we knew her skin was strong enough. It reminded me of the herbs my mom kept by the back door and of the steam from a long bath. The refill is what keeps that smell on rotation in my own home.
This is a 12 ounce refill of our Rosemary Body Butter, the exact same plant based formula as the Rosemary Body Butter jar. The base is shea butter, mango butter, avocado oil, and jojoba oil, with rosemary essential oil, herbal, green, and grounding. Same small batch quality, same texture, just packed in a lighter pouch so you can refill the jar you already love.
Open the cap on your existing jar, snip the corner of the pouch, and squeeze the body butter into your jar. Smooth the top with the back of a clean spoon, secure the lid, and store at room temperature out of direct sun. Use within twelve months. After your shower, scoop a small amount and apply to damp skin so it locks in moisture and absorbs fast.
Rosemary essential oil can be used at low cosmetic levels in pregnancy, but some practitioners prefer you avoid it, especially in the first trimester. When in doubt, check with your provider.
Many customers use it post workout for the warming, herbal feel. We make no medical claims, but the ritual of massaging it into tired legs tends to feel really good.
Exactly the same. We use the same recipe, the same ingredients, and the same small batch process. The only difference is the packaging.
You get a larger amount of body butter for less than the cost of a new jar, and you skip the extra container. Most regulars rotate between a jar and a refill every few months.
About three to four months with daily, full body use. Longer if you are mostly using it on hands, elbows, and other spot areas.
For active eczema, start with the Eczema Relief Body Butter. For sensitive but not flaring skin, this scent and our other gentle scents tend to work well. Patch test on the inside of your wrist first.
