In creating this design, we wanted to create something minimalist, simple, yet stunning and suitable for wearing in public. Of course we were inspired to make his design by the devotion of Divine Mercy, which is together with st. Faustina are a patrons of our parish.

The design was visually inspired by the image of the Merciful Jesus by Eugeniusz Kazmirowski, created according to the instructions of Saint Faustina Kowalska. The words “Jesus, I trust in You” are a quote from another, more popular version of the Image of Christ the Merciful Jesus by Adolf Hyła.

The design consists of two rays of light, blue and red, emanating from (here implied) the pierced side of the Merciful Jesus. The blue ray symbolizes water that justifies the soul, and the red ray symbolizes blood, which is the life of souls. The square and the phrase “Jesus, I trust in You” are minimalist elements that complete composition.
