Meet Stubborn and Rumbelina, the elephant members of the Zambezi Bush Kids Collection. Stubborn is named in memory of a famous elephant who once roamed that Lower Zambezi before he sadly lost his life to a poacher, while Rumbelina is named after the ever so beautiful rumble sound that elephants are so well known for.
Groups of women from Zambia gather to knit and crochet gorgeous animals which provide a vital source of income for the crafters and help raise awareness for at risk species conservation. The toys are made with 100% African cotton and stuffed with locally sourced acrylic by-product, and provide a vital source of income for rural women who have limited opportunities to earn money.
Little Ndaba makes contributions back to species protection with each purchase and MisHMasH donates 10% of the purchase price from each toy to elephant conservation efforts in Zambia. Please refer to Philanthropy page for additional information
