A brilliant release by Rudder, Japan. The single malt is from the Dailuaine distillery and has been matured for 25 years in a single bourbon barrel #3138 before being bottled at natural cask strength of 54%. This is 1 of 191 bottles.

Tasting note:

Nose is funky, a bit musty, milk bottle lollies, yoghurt, plenty of that lactic fermentation character, creamy, ripe tropical fruits, banana lollies, saw dust, and yellow fruits. Palate is big and chewy, savoury, fruity, again lots of lactic fermentation character. Milk lollies, touch of earthiness, complex, with a long finish.
