I made this ring for my Nana as a gift in the early 1980's I cut the freeform Australian opal cabochon and did all the silver work. It's sterling but not stamped. I was in middle school at the time. She had TINY fingers.

PRIVATE COLLECTION items are things that have special meaning to me and have been in my personal collection for decades.  I've realized that I really want a photo of the item and the story of the item but don't need to the piece myself anymore.  Objects have lives, they are witness to things.  I hope this piece finds a nice new home.  More will be revealed.
