S&S Cycle part 90-4914 is an electronic compression release assembly designed specifically for high-displacement, high-compression Harley-Davidson Big Twin engines equipped with aftermarket S&S cylinder heads. It is primarily a replacement component for existing S&S electric compression release kits. 

Critical Fitment Requirements:

This part is not compatible with stock (OEM) Harley-Davidson heads because factory heads lack sufficient material in critical areas for the necessary machining. It is designed to fit: 

S&S Cylinder Heads: Specifically those for Twin Cam, 4" bore Evolution Big Twin, and Super Sidewinder Plus style engines.

S&S Rocker Covers: These covers are required to provide the necessary clearance for the electric solenoid.

Engine Models: Compatible with 1984-up Big Twins (Evolution and Twin Cam) that have been upgraded with S&S performance heads. 

Compatible Vehicle Applications:

When installed in appropriate S&S heads, this assembly fits a wide range of Harley-Davidson models from 1984 through 2017, including:

Touring: Electra Glide, Road King, Street Glide, and Road Glide models (1984–2016).

Softail: Heritage Classic, Fat Boy, Softail Slim, and Deluxe models (1986–2017).

Dyna: Street Bob, Wide Glide, Low Rider, and Super Glide models (1993–2017).
