TUESDAY, JUNE 30, 6:30pm - 8:30pm PT
This is an in-person workshop at CfM Art Room:
4035 Judah St, San Francisco, next door to our shop!
Botanical illustration has a long and storied history, but it often seems inaccessible, since it's so often framed in terms of accuracy or fidelity. But we've been illustrating our relationship to our environment for as long as we've been human (or arguably even before that) – and for most of that time, it wasn't about technical perfection.
This course focuses on drawing and painting as a way to connect with the plants, stones, and other subjects around us, using pen drawing and watercolor to spend some quality time with these non-human characters.
MATERIALS NEEDED
