These 2" x 30' ratchet straps are a transportation industry staple, offering the strength and versatility needed for a wide variety of securement jobs. The polyester webbing is rugged enough for demanding loads yet soft enough to help protect your cargo. With minimal stretch and resistance to UV rays and moisture, these straps are built to last. The ratcheting mechanism makes it easy to apply precise tension—something cam straps can’t match. Perfect for loads that require more strength than a 1" strap without the bulk of a 4" strap.
These 2" tie down straps are designed with a longer fixed end than most standard straps, positioning the ratchet further from the anchor point for easier operation. A sewn loop next to the ratchet offers a convenient place to tuck away extra webbing, keeping your setup clean and safe.
The webbing is manufactured with slightly thicker yarn and more picks per inch than many competitors. Each strap end is heat-sealed to prevent fraying. These details provide superior resistance to abrasion, tearing, and cutting, helping the strap hold up longer under heavy use.
The zinc-coated ratchet assembly includes a short, standard handle designed to give you reliable leverage while working in tight spaces.
Double stud fittings make this strap a perfect match for use with airline track (L-track). Simply slide the fitting into the desired slot and lock it into place to create a secure anchor point. Each fitting is zinc-plated for added corrosion resistance, ensuring long-term durability in demanding environments.
All of US Cargo Control's ratchet straps are tagged and stenciled with the working load limit to meet FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American Cargo Securement standards.
Learn more about proper load handling and securement in the WSTDA safety bulletins.
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
