A pin type busbar is a conductive strip or bar (often in copper or copper alloy) shaped so that circuit breakers (MCBs) or other modular DIN rail devices can be plugged or connected into it via “pins” (instead of wiring each device separately)

• Compatibility of Breakers: The breakers (or modular devices) must be designed to work with or accept pin type / needle type bus connection
• Overload & Fault Protection: Even though the busbar distributes the feed, there must be proper upstream protection and correct sizing (short circuit current capacity, etc.). Ensure fault currents are within what the busbar, the breakers, and the panel can safely handle
