Description:
<The second album "Mystery" by Pink Floyd, released in 1968, has been reissued in limited analog format with the original mono mix and 180g vinyl weight. The sound source is the original mono mix from 1968. The soundtrack was remastered in 2019 from the original 1968 mono analog tape by James Guthrie, the master of all Pink Floyd sounds, Joel Plant, and Bernie Grundman, and released exclusively on Record Store Day 2019 The thing. The MONO version, which received worldwide acclaim for its quality, is now being reissued in a new limited edition for the 55th anniversary of its debut. Mystery" was released in 1968, and was the second album produced during the turbulent period when Syd Barrett was mentally unstable due to drug overdose and left the band, and David Gilmour was brought in as a new guitarist. The album, with a cosmic psychedelic sound in the style of its predecessor, produced such stage highlights as "Hymn to the Sun," written by Roger Waters and inspired by a William Burroughs novel, and the title track, a four-part song that runs 12 minutes. The album was a highlight of the band's stage career. The album was also an important starting point for the band, which lost Barrett midway through the album's production, as it marked the beginning of the four-piece lineup that was to follow. The album ranked at No. 9 in the U.K. charts.
