The SB-8-5 Junction Box is perfect for installations if you need to create a waterproof connection for multiple electrical cables, suitable for areas such as lockers, Lazarette’s and Tender Bays.

Marine additional details

The heavy-duty junction box is crafted from marine-grade polypropylene and features five screw-down terminals. For IP67 installation, additional SB-2G cable seals are required. The box is supplied with five modular terminal blocks, offering five terminations.

Depending on the number of terminations needed, the terminal blocks can be individually fitted or connected together. Unlike other boxes that leave terminal blocks floating, which can risk loose connections, our design ensures a secure fit. The cables are easily pushed into the terminals and are secured using a sprung leaf retention system that does not damage the wire. The terminal can beremoved for easy cable fitting, and it clips securely into the base of the box.

It is supplied with self-tapping screws for installation and includes an installation bracket for quick and easy fitting and removal for inspection.
