Bridport, TASA visit to Bridport in North East Tasmania is not complete without out sitting at the charming ruins of Bridport Jetty which seemingly stretch to the horizon from a friendly little cove. The jetty was built after the establishment of the Forester timber mill in 1911 to ship timber to Melbourne. Unfortunately the jetty fell into disrepair after the timber mill was closed during the great depression of the 1930's.
