A simple way to mix and match colours for your cards, is to pick a colour from the pre-printed sheets of paper in layer 2 and match that chosen colour with your background from layer 1 and your card choice.

Tips on how to use the DIY Card Making Kit

Remember to decide who your card is for and keep them in mind, when choosing colours, shapes, themes for their special card.

Choose a card – the fun begins, now plan you card, using the next few steps before gluing anything onto it.
Choose a sheet of colourful paper from the pack labelled layer 1.
Position it on the card, but don’t glue it yet.
From the Layer 2 pack of paper, choose a sheet of the colourful pre-printed paper, place this on the first layer. (You may cut this layer if you need to, or turn it into a shape using the stencil.)
Choose a tag, the theme of the occasion.
Choose the accessories from the accessories box, or use the stencil. Remember less is more so don’t overdo the accessories.
Select your inside message, this is optional but preferable for black cards.
Are you happy with the design, awesome go ahead and glue it all together.
To finish your card, choose and envelope that matches and you are done. now sit back and enjoy your creation.
