Hybrid seedling plant in a 100mm pot. Near flowering size.

I have not made a cross all the way back to the shapely, deep red Rubescence (Blc. Oconee x Slc. Seagulls Apricot) in a while now, but this year we did several. Here is mated with the dark purple-pink Aloha Case (Lc. Mini Purple x C. walkeriana).  This is a new direction in breeding with Rubescence, we are expecting flat, wide, rounded petals, and the lip shape will be influenced by the walkeriana with  2 flowers in dark red to pink-red.  Lots of potential in this one.
