Neal's Yard Dairy is widely considered the UK's finest cheesemonger — founded in 1979, they champion British and Irish farmhouse cheesemakers, visiting farms to hand-select the finest batches which they then mature in their own cellars until peak deliciousness. Every cheese is selected, matured and cut by hand.

Because this is a counter selection rather than a fixed product, the four cheeses vary week to week based on what's looking best. You'll typically receive a mix of styles — hard, soft and blue — chosen to work together as a complete board. If you have strong preferences or allergies, please note them at checkout and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Remove all cheeses from the fridge 45–60 minutes before serving to bring them to room temperature — essential for flavours to open fully. Serve with Verduijn's Fine Biscuits, good chutney and seasonal accompaniments. As a general rule, work from the mildest cheese to the strongest.

Once delivered, keep refrigerated and consume within 3–5 days for optimum flavour. Wrap each cheese individually in wax paper or cheese paper rather than cling film to prevent sweating. Harder cheeses will keep slightly longer than soft or washed rind varieties.
