Deep Purple
Description:
Since their debut in 1968, the rock giants Deep Purple have overcome numerous crises to remain at the top of the HM/HR scene and have influenced numerous bands. Now, two different lineups from their more than half-century of activity have been remastered and released in a rare live archive! After the departure of Ian Gillan and Roger Glover, the band overcame the crisis with the addition of David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes, and made a fresh start with the album "Burn", which was more successful than the previous lineup. However, during the production of the next album, the rift between the band and Ritchie Blackmore deepened. Following the release of "Stormbringer," the band embarked on a tour of North America and Europe, including a concert in Austria on April 3, which was recorded and broadcast as a program on European FM stations. This live album is a complete recording of the concert including guitar solo, keyboard solo, and encores.Ritchie Blackmore would leave the band four days later, but this is a rare live archive CD release of the band's live performance, which shows a perfect combination of the band without any hint of their disagreement!
