This is a hands-on session and everyone is encouraged to bring their own piece of furniture to work on during the day, such as a small bookcase, cabinet, table or dining chair with drop in seat.  Make sure it is not something with sentimental value.  

If you need a piece to work on during the course this can can be arranged at a small additional cost.  If you do require a piece to work on please advise us the day before the Class.

Please do not bring anything that has been waxed or previously painted, unless this has been removed in advance.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those wanting to refine their technique using different finishes. 

You will learn how to apply the paints to get the best results, the preparation necessary and lots of helpful tips along the way!  You will have access to all of the products that we sell including transfers, decoupage papers, waxes etc, to be paid for on the day.

The workshops are flexible in nature so that we can incorporate the particular requirements of your individual projects. If your project is more complex it maybe that it will take more than one session.

The paints we use are Fusion Mineral Paint, Milk Paint by Fusion, Dixie Belle Paint, Wise Owl Paint, Vintage with Grace Paint.  Please be aware that we only use products on our workshop that we stock and are familiar with and these can be purchased from us on the day with a 10% discount.

We provide aprons and unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits! 

There will be a break around 12pm so BRING A PACKED LUNCH.

The classes run from 10am to 4pm and are located at our dedicated paint workshop at Causeway Creations, The Causeway, Scotlandwell, KY13 9JQ, just 5 minutes off Junction 5, M90 Motorway.
