Saint-Saëns, a French composer active in the 19th and 20th centuries, left more than 160 numbered works as well as numerous unnumbered pieces, only a few of which are performed today, such as "Symphony No. 3," "Piano Concerto No. 5," "Dance of Death" and "Carnival of the Animals" suite. The excellent pianist Saint-Saëns was a great pianist, but he was not a great composer. Saint-Saëns was an excellent pianist and composed many piano pieces, but most of them are considered "light salon-style works" and are rarely performed, except for the more technical pieces such as the exercises, and the arrangements on the two albums released here have not been heard at all. The arrangements on these two albums are not heard very often. However, Saint-Saens, who began composing at the age of three after studying piano at two, has created some of the most exquisite and gorgeous piano arrangements of his own ballets and various operas.
