The reissue series by Germany's Tresor, which sheds light on the great legacy they left behind, finally reaches the isolated and hidden masterpiece "Harnessed The Storm". This was their last album, released in 2002, the year James passed away. The album is a collection of songs that are all about the charm of the Detroit sound, such as "Digital Tsunami", "Dr. Blowfins' Black Storm Stabilizing Spheres", which continues to attract many DJs with its strange gaps, and "Birth Of New Life The overall tone is dark and experimental, with rough and wild rhythms, but there are also beautiful melodies and emotional moods that spark momentarily, making the album as a whole a truly rewarding listen. Detroit contemporary artist Matthew Angelo Harrison created the artwork for the new look, following his work on "Neptune's Lair".
