As with "Teak" oil, there is no one true formula for making a danish recipe. Our recipe is quite traditional, in that it combines boiled linseed oil, tung oil, solvents, and pine rosin to create a unique yet time-honoured formula. The oils penetrate deeply, the solvents aid spreadability, workability, penetration, and drying time. And as it cures the pine rosin combines with the polymerizing oils to create a protective yet flexible top coat that will protect your project from the elements.
