Life/form® Adult Venipuncture and Injection Training Arm - Dark

Easy to use, the Life/form Venipuncture and Injection Training Arm is perfect for teaching these techniques, including initiating IVs and Over-the Needle catheters. These simulators provide realistic feeling of puncture and flashback through the vinyl skin and latex veins. The skin rolls when the vein is palpated, and the characteristic "pop" can be felt when the needle penetrates the vein. Veins can be accessed at the antecubital fossa, along the forearm, and the back of the hand, all of the common sites for venipuncture.

Intramuscular injection practice is equally realistic. A foam pad simulates the muscle tissue, and landmarks can be identified by the bonelike landmarks.

Complete replacement skin kits are available. You can extend the life of the skin/vein sets with an aerosol sealant that seals punctures in the tubing and prevents leakage (LF01099U).

Each arm includes skin, 22 gauge needle, butterfly set, infusion set, 3cc syringe, 12cc syringe, one pint Life/form blood, fluid supply bags, instruction manual, and a hard carry case. Fluid supply stand is not included. Three-year warranty. Measures 35" x 12" x 6".

Please note: Use only Life/form replacement parts. To prevent malfunction of the simulator, do not use conventional latex tubing.
