BUFF® Firefighter NFPA Particulate Hood

This BUFF® Firefighter NFPA Particulate Hood is designed to provide comprehensive protection to firefighters from both fire and dermal exposure risks. It features a trilaminate FR fabric that effectively shields the head and neck areas from harmful particles.

Composed of two layers, the outer layer is made from a blend of Nomex® fabric, Viscose FR, Elastane, Polyamide, Kevlar®, Carbon fiber P-140, and a middle layer of DuPont TM Nomex® Nanoflex, which acts as a barrier against micro and nano particles.

The hood incorporates HeiQ Smart Temp Cooling technology for enhanced comfort, helping firefighters regulate body temperature in extreme conditions and reducing risks of fatigue and heat stress.

Certified by UL to meet NFPA 1971-2018 standards, this hood is ideal for structural firefighters seeking superior protection and comfort.
