The Fluke 1625 GEO Earth Ground Testers is a versatile Earth Ground Tester, which can perform 3- and 4-pole fall-of-potential tests, selective testing, and stakeless testing. The Fluke 1625 is a distinctive earth ground tester that can perform all four types of earth ground measurement. Specifically, the Fluke 1625 tester is able to measure earth ground loop resistances using only clamps – called Stakeless testing. This method doesn’t require the use of earth ground stakes or the disconnection of ground rods.The Selective/Stakeless clamp set is used along with the Fluke 1625 to perform Selective and Stakeless testing. Selective testing means using one clamp along with earth ground stakes to provide earth ground loop resistance values for one earth ground electrode. Stakeless testing uses both clamps provided to perform earth ground loop resistance measurement without stakes. Both tests have the advantage of providing measurements with no disconnection from the grounding system! Safer and quicker.
