ORAL CARE LIGHT THERAPY DEVICE

Our Oral Care Light Therapy Device uses non-UV Blue lights that have an anti-inflammatory effect and inhibits the growth of bacteria and oral microbes. Blue light has been shown to increase the effectiveness of whitening products. When using a bleaching product on your teeth, a chemical reaction opens the pores of the teeth and lifts out the discolouration, blue light speeds up that chemical reaction.

Red light therapy works by increasing circulation and speeding cell turnover. In the same way that it can improve the health of skin cells to reduce dark spots and wrinkles, it can improve the health of the gums, and reduce pain from things like cold sores.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

We recommend 10 to 20 minutes per treatment using the Oral Care Light Therapy Device, depending on your goal. For gum health, the recommended frequency is once a day for 10 minutes. If your goal is teeth whitening, then aim for two to three treatments a week for 20 minutes each.
