Black Sabbath
Description:
Black Sabbath is one of the leading figures in the heavy metal music scene. Despite numerous changes, Black Sabbath, led by guitarist Tony Iommi, has been active for nearly half a century and continues to exert a great influence on various HM/HR bands. Now, a newly unearthed live archive of Black Sabbath is here! Black Sabbath debuted with "Black Sabbath" in 1970. The title number of the album "Paranoid" was a smash hit and reached No. 1 in the UK album charts. The concert in Paris, France on December 20 of the same year was recorded and broadcast for a TV program, and this album is a live album based on the sound recordings used for the broadcast. Although part of the set list of the day is omitted due to the time constraints of the broadcast, the live performances from the two albums are so powerful that it is hard to believe that this is a band that has just made its debut. This is a live archive of the early days of the original Black Sabbath, and will bring tears to the eyes of not only Sabbath fans but also HM/HR fans! Imported domestic edition with Japanese obi, English booklet and bilingual translation. Ozzy Osbourne (vo) Tony Iommi (g) Geezer Butler (b) Bill Ward (ds)
